His main interests include logical and physical database design, query optimizers, and basically everything else related to data processing and application performance management. He is the author of Troubleshooting Oracle Performance (Apress, 2008/14/26).
POUG is not only the official Oracle community – first of all it is the base of very active members, who are engaged in the group development both during the meetings and the preparations to them.
