Sławomir is a software engineer who enjoys making complex systems behave -— most recently at Oracle,
where he works on MySQL replication in the MySQL & HeatWave team. He’s spent 20+ years working across
telecom, databases, and distributed systems, with stops at Samsung, IBM, Motorola, HSBC, and CERN.

He’s happiest deep in C/C++ on a Linux box, solving tricky problems and making things run fast
and reliably. When he’s not coding, you’ll likely find him running or skiing—depending
on the season and how much he feels like freezing.
