Nigel Bayliss

Nigel is the product manager for the Oracle Optimizer. He began as an application developer and Oracle DBA in 1988 and, over time, became more interested in database design and performance management. He joined Oracle Consulting in 1996, where he concentrated on delivering performance-critical and very large database applications. At Oracle Corporation, he has had various roles, including consulting, benchmarking, pre-sales and development. He has been part of the Oracle Data Warehouse Product Management team since 2014.
