Toon is a member of Oracle’s Real-World Performance team. The RWP team troubleshoots application performance issues in and around the DBMS. The way applications currently use (or rather, abuse) the DBMS, is often at the root of these performance issues. Prior to joining the RWP team, Toon has been mainly involved in database application development. He has been part of the Oracle ecosystem since the late eighties.
POUG is not only the official Oracle community – first of all it is the base of very active members, who are engaged in the group development both during the meetings and the preparations to them. Our message gets to the 400 people connected with databases – from the developers to the administrators and from the begginers to the experts with years of experience.
