Stefan Oehrli

Stefan Oehrli is a platform architect, trainer and partner at Trivadis. After studying electrical engineering and a several years of experience as project engineer in the microelectronic and computer science, he began to work with database systems in the late 1998. During this time he could gain substantial experience in physical design, implementation and operation of Oracle databases, define and configure backup & recovery strategies, develop and implement database security strategies or analysis of database performance issues. His main interests include physical database design, backup & recovery, container technologies, database security, database internals and everything else related to the core Oracle database technology. In addition to classes and seminars organised by Trivadis, he regularly lectures at conferences and user group meetings as Oracle ACE. Stefan is the co-author of book “Der Oracle DBA” (Hanser, 2016).
